Mickey defeats him and breaks the trance, sending Hook to the Fortress with the promise of not harming the other characters.Īfter Mickey's fight through the west hall, which looked like Agrabah and the Cave of Wonders, he arrives in a replica of the Sultan's room. Having been put under a spell by Mizrabel, Hook thinks Mickey is an enemy working for Peter Pan. He comes across a copy of the Jolly Roger, where Captain Hook confronts him. Mickey fights his way through the east hall, which Mizrabel's illusionary magic has made look like London and Neverland. When enough Heart Power is accumulated from rescuing characters, it breaks the witch's illusions, revealing new areas of the castle. Mickey sets out to save the characters however, Mizrabel impedes his path with her ghoulish army. Oswald arrives and explains that Mizrabel is draining the paint of popular characters, hoping to use their accumulated Heart Power to escape Wasteland. I was standing on three cookies floating in the river and had to avoid his attacks until I had a chance to jump on his head. It was great.Īt the end of the level, there was another boss fight, this time against a giant licorice dragon that lives in the milk river. ![]() I used Jello as a trampoline, I jumped cookies floating in a milk river. Soon enough though, the whole level changed as Mickey entered a special magical book that sent him to a land of candy, sweets and treats! I always enjoy food-themed levels in video games. The first few sections were on the library's shelves as I dodged magical books, bookworms and sentient alphabet letters. The game slowed down to a crawl in this battle, making it much more difficult to time jumps correctly. The problem wasn't so much the mechanics, but the framerate. Then it was two at a time, then 3 at a time. The water level rose and fell as a weird from person attacked me. The boss fight was the worst in the game yet. Here, the platforming is taken up a notch with some falling platforms. The third world, The Storm, was a lot more interesting. ![]() The forest is fun and easy and the toy world was a big step up in difficulty.
